Job Presentation

We are currently looking for a result orientated individual in the position of Cleaner based in Maseru, Lesotho. The incumbent will report directly to the Facilities Manager

Role Purpose

To ensure that the reception, office, meeting and kitchen areas are clean and tidy, related equipment is maintained, and required supplies are stocked according to business requirements.

Requirements

2years relevant experience within in office environment (desirable)

Formal qualifications COSC

Time management skills Interpersonal skills Planning skills

Knowledge of basic stock management Knowledge of housekeeping standards  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To ensure the general office and all communal areas are kept neat and tidy.
  • Cleaning of allocated area which includes vacuuming, washing of crockery and cutlery, cleaning of floors and all workspaces.
  • To ensure meeting rooms are presentable each morning (e.g. chairs in the correct place, tables clean).To prepare and provide refreshments to internal and external stakeholders, upon request.
  • To clear away empty plates and cups once a meeting has ended, and hygienically dispose of leftover food.
  • To empty desk bins, transfer litter into refuse bags, carry to collection area, remove and replace refuse bags from collection bins.
  • To ensure hygiene and cleanliness of Kitchen surfaces, appliances and equipment, ablution facilities and office equipment (e.g. photocopier).to ensure adequate stock of refreshments (e.g. coffee, tea, milk, sugar), crockery and cutlery, cleaning materials and ablution facility requirements (e.g. toilet paper, hand soap).To build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • To manage financial and other company resources under your control with due respect.
  • To Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
  • To run other office errands that mat be assigned  e.g. taking documents from Metropolitan offices (from KIngsway to Bokamoso Business Suites)
